The heavy-duty land robot loader NA-T256 carries up to 2.5 tons and is used for complex repair work. Natasha is widely used on construction sites all over the USSR. Without Natasha, building the Dneprovskaya, Kuibyshevskaya, and Stalingradskaya hydroelectric power plants would have been impossible, not to mention finishing the Baikonur Cosmodrome ahead of schedule.
Some Natasha models are equipped with adjusted rocket engines developed under the guidance of Comrade Korolev, which allow the heavy robot to climb to proportionate heights assuming safety precautions are observed. Nobody not wearing protection gear can be near Natasha during takeoff.

Natasha’s design follows that of the first robot tank systems with walking elements. The body was built to withstand intense pressure, letting it lift heavy, oversized cargoes as well as distributing impulses around the body when there is a more concentrated load (for example, when a plate falls or there is a jerky takeoff).
