The light universal copter LUC-1 performs various tasks in the agro-industrial and livestock complex, watching the crops and pastures in Soviet collective farms. Unlike the larger Drofa model, the Owl is smaller and has lower lifting power but makes up for it with better mobility:

Owls can reach speeds of up to 75 km/h, and multiple Owls working together can transport heavy loads. The main purpose of the Owl is to keep a watchful eye on cattle.
