POSITION
We're looking for a Level Artist to join our development team and help us build out the unique world and atmosphere of Atomic Heart.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan and create game levels using the Unreal Engine with an emphasis on light and color;
- Collaborate with game designers to create a consistent design for levels and gameplay;
- Collaborate with the Art Director to keep level design consistent with the overall concept art for the game;
- Implement lighting and special effects to improve the atmosphere of the game world;
- Create and implement color schemes to evoke particular moods and improve gameplay.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ years of experience as a level artist in the video game industry;
- Strong portfolio that demonstrates your relevant skills in composition and lighting;
- Knowledge of Maya, ZBrush, Substance 3D Painter, and other industry-standard programs;
- Deep understanding of composition, lighting, and color theory;
- Knowledge of game development processes and pipelines;
- Experience with the Unreal Engine is a plus.
