Managment of the level design department;
Monitoring the work of the department, building the internal infrastructure, reporting, participation in key art solutions;
Development of interesting and unique locations for the game;
Collaboration with other departments to achieve maximum quality levels;
Creating layers and logic of the levels;
Participation in setting the complexity of the game and levels individual elements;
Creating the topography and game LORE;
Promoting prototyping, scripting, balancing the game, stimulating and customizing the gameplay;
Work in a team of level designers, cooperation for the optimal solutions.
Experience in AA / AAA projects as a level designer or having your own strong portfolio;
Good leadership skills, understanding the basics of management, work experience in a managerial position;
Mastery of tools for designing levels and good game editors knowledge;
Understanding pf how to create interesting levels, combining the best techniques in geometry, mechanics and plot presentation;
Good organizational and communication skills;
English language: the ability to read and write (B2);
Experience in the gaming industry from 3 years in the position of level designer or game designer;
Great gaming experience in Action / FPS games.
It will be a plus:
Basic knowledge of working with UE4 materials / shaders;
Experience in positions of Environment Artist and / or Level Artist
Working with particle systems in UE4 (Cascade / Niagara);
Experience as a game designer.
