The PM became the calling card of Soviet law enforcement agencies almost immediately after it was developed in 1948. The original weapon used relatively weak 9×18 caliber rounds, which were inferior to their “older comrades” in terms of their stopping power. However, this modernized version, which is widely used in Facility 3826, is different, having undergone a number of fundamental changes.

The polymer core of the rounds gives them substantially greater impact when they fragment, and the improved trigger mechanism allows more shots to be fired without any loss of accuracy. As a result, the density of fire is higher, and the weapon is more effective. Despite the fact that this weapon was primarily created to tackle enemy personnel, the PM also shows extremely high efficiency against machines. The damaged neural network has left the blueprints for assembling the PM virtually unchanged, so it is worth paying special attention to applying high-quality upgrades to this weapon.
