The MARC (multi-aiming rocket complex), also known as the “Fat Boy,” is a standard anti-tank grenade launcher that can be easily turned into an MPADS thanks to the ability to change its ammo. It came to replace a whole plethora of the Red Army’s weapons, relegating the PTRS-41, as well as the VG-45 and the RPG-2, to museums.
Its distinguishing feature is its unmistakable design, which was described as being extremely non-ergonomic by many engineers during the development stage. However, it has since proved highly convenient to use. The Fat Boy is highly accurate when firing rounds, and most of its ammo is capable of taking even the most modern types of combat robot out of action, not to mention civilian robotic assistants.
